An engaging and interactive R&B Artist as well as Performer and Educator. Sherry Wilson Butler has and continues to create, and uplift audiences and students alike on her Journey. Butler has numerous accolades and accomplishments on her list. Most recent is her participation along with the other members of the original Teddy Pendergrass Group in the documentary on ShowtimeAmazonNetflixHulu, of Pendergrass’ life story “If You Don’t Know Me.” Filmed in and around Philadelphia, Butler spoke well of Pendergrass and the experiences on and off the world wide tours and life as a performing artist. Among her other various achievements include:

  • 2016 Lil Drummaboy “Groundbreaker Award” for lifetime achievements, success, & dedication to music; and cultivating the talents of numerous aspiring artists.

Sherry Wilson Butler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music and Theater Arts from Cheyney University, and a Masters degree in Educational Administration from Temple University. She has and continues to service the education community for over 20 years in diverse educational locations and communities. These include:

Still, unmistakably, Butler’s vocal persona stands on it’s own dynamic accord. Her voice has afforded her recognition as a premiere R&B, Soul and Jazz performing & recording artist and entertainer, A&R consultant, master vocal teacher and coach, classroom music educator, lyricist, educational administrator, actress, commercial voice-over talent, and short story writer.
